		The Oberoi Trident Hotel at Coimbatore is to be located on a seven-acre site close to the airport. The proposals constitute a series of Mangalore tiled roof pavilions which define the portico, the Entrance Lobby and the Restaurant and meeting rooms; guest rooms are accommodated in a three story wing along one side of this site.

		The central courtyard with the swimming pool is the focus of the entire development and this in turn connects directly via a covered link to the extensive gardens and recreational facilities beyond. All services are concentrated to one side and are screened from the guest areas and gardens.
